Praise our God! For He is GOOD! :)

Hey all,

Um.. I'm not home... and I don't have all the details yet, so this will be brief and without most of the details. But I just wanted to quickly share the good news!

So as a follow up to my last post, this afternoon, Alcatel has officially extended a full-time job offer to me, starting in May. I have not yet officially accepted the offer, because they had yet to send me all the details associated with the position... and also I was a little overwhelmed when I received the phone call, and did not want to rush the decision without calming down and looking over everything first. So I am to get back to them by end of day next Monday. But unless there are very unusual things in the offering package they send me... I expect myself to accept the offer.

So I just wanted to quickly let you guys know what happened. And thank you all for your prayers and support in the past few months over this. I'll be sending out hopefully one final update email on this to you guys, once everything is finalized. I'm so excited, cos if you just look over the posts on here in the past month... we can see how much God has blessed us, as individuals and as a church. Let's praise our God for His faithfulness!!!

Job update

Hey all,

Just wanted to give a quick update. You guys know I had an interview with Alcatel a couple of weeks ago. And they've finally gotten back to me this week, asking for my references. I don't know exactly what that means... but I take that as a very good sign. So praise God!!! Because, it normally means that either they want me, and just need to check my references to look for any last minute reasons to not hire me... or it means I'm one of the few that they are considering, and the references will be one of the deciding factors. So either way, I'll need this process to go well. While I'm confident that all my references will be giving positive inputs about me, anything can still happen. As I've told some of you from the very beginning, the way this thing has gone, I'll only get this job if God wants me to have it. So I'd like to ask for prayers about this whole process, that if it's in God's will, things will go smoothly; and above all else, I want God's will to be done. Please also pray for patience and wisdom as I go through the final part of this, and more importantly for increased faith, that no matter what happens, I can trust in Him.

A New Step

Hey guys, Will here.

I've recently taken a big step in my life, and would appreciate your encouragement, support, and help in keeping me accountable throughout this new stage.

I have a girlfriend.

Yes, that's right... after a lot of prayer and consideration, I am diving into a loving, strong, purposeful, and christ-like relationship with Shannon. Some of you already know her well, and the rest will end up meeting her at some point. It's kind of a long story how meeting her a couple of years ago progressed into a relationship, so I'll spare you the details... for now.

Shannon and I are both really excited about our budding relationship, and would like to call on you guys, our brothers in Christ, to keep us accountable.
